Join us at the Rochester Real Beer Expo. Local business owners from the award winning South Wedge neighborhood have joined forces to bring you a street party with over 70 of the most exciting craft beers currently available.

We love our neighborhood and we love good beer. We will bring to you a beer festival that captures what is exciting in the ever changing craft beer community at the time. Too often we have found ourselves at beer festivals that simply offer all the same beers that we see all the time. We aim to shake things up and present to you with the type of beer event that we would like to attend. When you go to a tasting you should hope and expect to have your eyes opened to new experiences. We can certainly promise you that.

Along with great craft beers we will be serving up boutique wines and Cajun BBQ against a backdrop of live local musicians. Our neighborhood thrives on its creativity and diversity and we will bring you an experience that reflects that. The ticket price of $40 ($45 day of event) will get you a commemorative 7 oz tasting glass, and 20 tasting tickets to start. You can receive additional tickets from the entry gate at no additional fee (State Liquor Authority Requirements) to use at any of the beer & wine tents. You can also enjoy food tastings from the New York Wine & Culinary Center, Nunda Mustard, Mad Foodz Salsa, Bona Fide Coffee, Finger Lakes Cheese, Kutter’s Cheese & Yancey’s Fancy Cheese. Food is also available for purchase from Beale Street Cafe, Little Venice Pizza, and Mise En Place Market. There will be raffles of brewery merchandise throughout the event, and a 50/50 cash raffle at the end of the event.

All proceeds from this event will be used to assist the Business Association of the South Wedge Area in their mission to continue revitalization of the South Wedge area through public art & cultural events, gardens & landscaping, and streetscape enhancement.
