The Real Beer Week is starting tomorrow and there seems to be more events popping up daily.  As you have probably figured out, you can find the events listed on the venues websites, their Facebook’s, on the ROCBeer calendar, and here on our site.  PLUS, if you’re into something you can hold on to and read — there’s the RRBW Event Directory that you can find at all the RRBW venues around town.

I wanted to take a minute to talk about some of the beer dinners and one special dad day brunch.  As of me typing this now there are still tickets available for each of these events, but I wouldn’t wait long to call and reserve a spot if something sounds too good to miss.

Happy Father’s Day, June 17th & Thursday June 21st
The beautiful folks over at The Owl House have put together a killer menu and some very cool beer pairing suggestions to please even the pickiest eater.  Even if you have other plans, check out this ridiculous menu they’ve put together for Father’s Day Brunch and the New American Food menu for the Ithaca Beer dinner on Thursday.  If something catches your eye don’t hesitate to call and make a reservation—ask for the patio, you’ll thank me later! Wednesday June 20th
Rochester’s oldest craft brewery, Rohrbach Brewing Company, is hosting a beer dinner at their Railroad Street Brewery.  If you haven’t been there, you really MUST check this place out, plus I heard that the dinner will be featuring food purchased right there at the Public Market.  How can you go wrong?  If they’ve been doing it for 20 years, they’re doing a lot of something right.  Call 585-594-9800 for reservations!

GOOD LUCK: Everyone needs a little Luck right?  Well, if you’re like me and believe that’s true… it’s your special week.  Good Luck Restaurant is doing a beer pairing dinner with Anderson Valley’s Charlie Carson combining good food, great beer, and beautiful company.  Call 585-340-6161 for reservations.

LENTO:  One of my favorite restaurants in town is hosting a NYS Beer Dinner!  If you haven’t eaten at Lento yet, you may not understand my excitement, but this place is amazing.  I’ve had a memorable experience ever time I’ve dined here.  You won’t want to miss this.  They’re doing their dinner a bit differently, it’s happening all evening and you just make a reservation and they will take you through their pairing dinner.  Go with a group, take a special date, or dine alone…. anyway you do it, don’t miss this!  Call for reservations now 585.271.3470.

In Summary
These events are by NO means the only special events happening in town.  Donnelly’s has a pretty sick Belgian dinner planned, Next Door Bar & Grill is going all out, and CB’s is doing a whole rib and beer party at the brewery.  I simply wanted to draw your attention to some of the dinners that might be a little less known.  Whichever events you attend, I can’t wait to hear all about it!
